Holey Moley
In this project I was given the task to create a logo for a brand new golf course in London called Holey Moley and I had to create a primary logo, Secondary logo, One color logo, and an Icon for it.
Research
During the research phase I really just wanted to gather information on Mini golf and the game itself and reserach the Name Holey Moley and its origins.
Sketches
During the sketches phase I didn't really have a direction I wanted to fo with and just went off of mini golf logos that already exist as well as some ideas from the top of my head.
Comps
During the comps phase I decided to use the sketches I made that came from the top of my head. I wanted to connect the word "Holey Moley" with a mascot and create the make with a facial expression like its saying Holey Moley.
Refined Comps
During the Refined Comps stage I took my favorite which was the more simple one with the rectangle behind the typeface and I took the face off of the golf ball.
